Our Federal Government client is seeking an APS 5 Project Officer for a 12 months contract.
  
  
The Role –
  
Key duties of a successful candidate will involve :

• Manage the administration of the business’ Postgraduate Scholarship scheme by providing secretariat and administrative support
• Support the negotiation and implementation of MoUs, including liaising with external stakeholders.
• Manage the administration/coordination of a committee
• Assist with developing policy
• Assist with data analysis

Ideal Candidate will need to demonstrate –

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel.
• Think strategically – able to understand the broader context and implications of their work.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly during stressful periods.
• Time management and prioritisation.
• Professional representation of self and agency.
• Interpretation and application of policy to every day work.
• Ability to manage small projects under limited supervision.
• Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Policy development experience
• Data analytical skills
• Ability to interpret information and report on it
• A willingness to undertake other tasks (organise meetings, take minutes etc.)
