The Rockdale Hub initiative is a collaborative service model designed to enable services, including goverment and nongoverment agencies, to work together with families to respond effectively to local issues for families with children birth to 12 years of age.
The Rockdale Project Officer is responsible for progressing the development of a place-based model using a Collective Impact Framework in Rockdale. The position is responsible for supporting the establishment of a governance structure and plan to consolidate and sustain the existing place based initiatives.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in welfare studies, social work, social sciences or community development, or relevant equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of placed based approaches (e.g. collective impact) to addressing identified population issues.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet conflicting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer services.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare terms of reference, minutes, project planning tools (e.g. program logic) relevant to the operation of the Rockdale Hub.
- High level skills with MS suite of software.
- Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
