We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team to work in a busy 8 bed combined ICU, HDU, CCU at Manly Hospital. This position is part-time and is classified as a Registered Nurse.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop professionally with the team.

What you'll be doing
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.
 
Employees must abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct. Criminal record checks will be undertaken on successful applicants and applicants for positions designated as Category A will be required to obtain required vaccinations prior to commencing employment.


Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  • Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Completion of a New graduate year or equivalent experience with recent experience working as a registered nurse in an acute care environment
  • A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Acute Care Nursing
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
