Key accountabilities…

  • Manage multiple asset improvement projects, within agreed budgets timeframes, compliance requirements and resources.
  • Provide advice and support for capital development projects with relation to existing infrastructure, operational considerations in design, commissioning, handover acceptance, and operational readiness to ensure organisational specifics are achieved.
  • Review, approve and manage asset change requests in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in tender procurement processes as required, and in accordance with Taronga policies and New South Wales Government procurement guidelines.
  • Ensure project management documentation is maintained in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Communicate Taronga’s education and conservation messages both internally and externally, ensuring all communications align with Taronga’s values to inspire change in accordance with Taronga’s vision and strategic pillars.
  • Comply with and suggest sustainability practices in the workplace to help achieve Taronga’s sustainability targets and reduce environmental impact.
  • Comply with and report any Work, Health and Safety incidents in line with Taronga’s Work, Health and Safety Charter.

About you…

We are looking for candidates that have:

  • Trade qualification or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Building or an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and experience.
  • Hold a current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised, including manual.
  • Maintain a current NSW White Card for Construction at your own expense.
  • Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
