  • Commencement Salary $83,598 p.a. plus superannuation (pro-rata)

The Apprenticeship Support Officer is accountable for the end to end delivery of an integrated Apprenticeship Support Programme provided by William Angliss Institute on behalf of the Victorian Department of Education and Training. 

 

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring the successful delivery of an integrated Apprenticeship Support Service Program consistent with the Government program objectives and contractual KPI’s.
  • Working professionally with Institute staff at all levels and relevant external stakeholders including employers, Apprenticeship Network Providers and relevant training providers to deliver an integrated Apprenticeship Support Service across the Institute.
  • Providing early intervention and tailored strategic support for apprentices experiencing difficulties in their apprenticeship consistent with the Apprenticeship Support Service Program objectives.
  • Playing an active part of the broader Learning and Information Services team and provide advice and support to all internal and external stakeholders in matters relating to the training and employment of apprentices.

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Extensive industry experience in an organisation working with apprentices or similar cohorts.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in the VET sector, mentoring, community development, dispute resolution or related apprenticeship services is desirable.
  • A current Driver’s Licence as the position requires regular travel within the assigned program region which may include statewide travel.
  • A Working with Children’s Check.
