We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Coordinator Civil Works and Waste Management to join the Infrastructure Team at Indigo Shire Council. The primary purpose of this position is to support the Manager Municipal Operations, in coordinating a range of civil engineering functions along with Council’s waste management and recycling services.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team to contributing positively to organisational objectives
  • Passion, dedication and a proven track record for delivering a first class strategic civil works and waste management planning
  • Experience in delivering emergency management responsibilities
  • Ability to engage with and respond to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated understanding of local government
