About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to join the professional, high performing Strategic Communications team for the Agriculture portfolio within the Employment, Investment and Trade Group.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, Agriculture, the position will work across the broad, complex and evolving Agriculture Victoria portfolio on issues impacting at a regional, state and national level.
As an integral member of the team, the Communications Advisor plays a key role in the development and delivery of high-quality and leading edge strategic communications across a broad spectrum of channels including media engagement, digital and social media.
Operating within a fast-paced, high volume environment the position will provide strategic advice and support to senior personnel across the department, establish and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, manage delivery of events and ministerial briefing communications.
About You
You will be an experienced communications professional who has demonstrated ability developing and delivering strategic communications services with proven capacity to effectively manage complex, competing requirements.
You will thrive within a fast-paced environment and relish the opportunity to fully utilise your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
