The opportunity 
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Officer (Laboratory) to join the Technical and Project Services team within Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all measures are taken to produce accurate and reliable information for road infrastructure development, construction, operation and maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you have demonstrated ability to conduct and supervise a broad range of investigation techniques and field operations for geotechnical, pavements and road materials investigations. In addition, you have high level analytical and problem solving skills, a good communicator and can work collaboratively as part of a team while at the same time can work independently.

Remuneration Package: RMS USS Grade 2-6 ($52,160 to $86,567), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
