Public Works Advisory (PWA) is a business unit of the Property and Advisory Group, a division of the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.  Public Works Advisory provides a broad range of infrastructure advisory, procurement, project management and engineering services across NSW, assisting local and state government clients to plan, develop, deliver, manage, operate and maintain critical infrastructure.

 

PWA is seeking an experienced engineer to provide specialised dam engineering and support services to clients and senior management, to ensure the consistent delivery of quality project outcomes.

 

In this role, you will work within a project based team environment across numerous disciplines. To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience as a dam design and/or dams safety engineer. You will have demonstrated experience in the delivery of advisory services and projects in this field, for multiple clients. You will possess a collaborative and flexible work style.

 

Experience in structural or mechanical engineering design, together with hydraulic analysis would be highly regarded.

 

To be considered for this position it is essential that you hold an appropriate engineering degree in civil or structural engineering or in an allied professional engineering field, eligibility for membership of relevant professional associations and hold a valid NSW driver’s licence.

Salary: Salary package up to $113,465. Package includes a base salary ($92,470 – $102,359) and employer’s contribution to superannuation.
