As the Senior Executive within the Corporate and Community Services Directorate, you will oversee a broad scoping portfolio including Finance, IT/GPS, Governance, Customer Service and Property Management. You will lead and drive all commercial and business activities across Council and your strategic focus will be on the development of highly influential frameworks including Corporate and Operational plans and the Learning and IT strategies. From an operational management perspective, you will guide a range of key businesses including Saleyards, Aerodromes, Community Housing and the region’s main recreational amenities. You will also be responsible for all aspects of Financial Sustainability across the Directorate.
As a proven and highly experienced Senior Manager, you have an innate ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams working within complex, stakeholder driven organisations. A creative and lateral thinker, you can quickly adapt to meet changing demands and flexible dynamics while never losing sight of the main objective. You have a strong hands-on working knowledge of Local Government processes and legislation including contemporary economic development practices and strategic advocacy principles.
