A career opportunity has become available with Council for a Local Laws Officer to administrate and report on compliance issues in regards to Council Local Laws and relevant legislation.
We are seeking an excellent communicator who has an interest in the care of domestic animals. You will utilise your experience in Local Laws or investigations or similar, to respond to and investigate reported breaches of Local Laws and other legislation throughout the Shire.
Located in Yeppoon on the Central Queensland coast Livingstone Shire Council provides a wide range of services to the community. Livingstone Shire Council is friendly, focussed on customer service and committed to the region.

To excel in this role, you will:
- Hold a relevant qualification in Compliance/Investigation (Certificate IV in (Local) Government: Statutory Investigation and Enforcement) and/or experience in Local Laws or a regulatory field or investigations or similar.
- Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
