Our Federal Government client is seeking an EL1 Assistant Director, Policy and Planning for an 8-month contract with an immediate start.
  
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Assistant Director will manage the strategic policy and planning activities of the agency.

Working as part of the Secretariat Branch, the duties would include but not limited to:

• Prepare and produce business publications — including the Integrity Commissioner’s Annual Report, Corporate Plan, and related documents.
• Analyse and present reports to support corporate governance — including estimates, questions on notice, question time and parliamentary briefings.
• Provide policy support to the Integrity Commissioner and the business Executive — including briefing papers, policy submissions, correspondence and presentations.
• Assist with media and communications management — including daily media analysis, draft responses and corporate brand management.
• Provide other strategic, secretariat and operational support as required.

A minimum of an active baseline clearance is required to be considered for the role.
