Glen Eira City Council is undertaking a variety of exciting capital works programs across the municipality. We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate who is keen to assist in the provision of effective project management including construction supervision and management of a variety of Municipal engineering and building infrastructure projects undertaken by Council's Capital Works Program Management Department.

You will have:

• Industry based knowledge in what is required for the successful delivery of capital infrastructure projects including road works, drainage, commercial street-scapes, recreation reserves, buildings and other facilities.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering. Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia is Mandatory. Lower qualifications with significant experience will also be considered.
• Industry based knowledge in problem solving skills and ability to assist in the management of a range of high profile projects and contractors.
• Sound communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to establish rapport and liaison with project stakeholders, negotiation of project outcomes and preparation and drafting of project reports as required.
• A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
