An exciting opportunity exists for a Resource Coordinator on a fixed term basis in Correction Victoria Information Technology branch.
The Business Services Division provides Corrections Victoria (CV) Head Office with high quality and timely business support services in the areas of Grants and Procurement, Contract Management, Finance and Accounting, Asset Management services and IT support. Corrections Victoria Information Technology (CVIT) is a business unit within CV that is responsible for sourcing, implementing, maintaining and supporting business solutions and technology essential to the day-to-day operations of CV.
CVIT's Business Support Services area is responsible for assisting the CVIT branch with essential day to day administrative support. Working closely with the CVIT Manager, Business Support Services, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for organising and maintaining highly confidential documentation pertaining staffing engagements, CVIT branch recruitment activities and procurement of professional services across multiple CV procurement panels. The Resource Coordinator will also be responsible for providing executive secretariat support to high profile CVIT monthly meetings and administrative support to CVIT General Manager as required.
As our ideal candidate, you will contribute to business support programs and demonstrate initiative to ensure that communication and workflows are seamless and timely. The role requires a flexible and adaptable candidate who is able to work autonomously and within a team setting. We are seeking demonstrated knowledge and expertise in resource management functions with a focus on high level administrative support.
