What you'll be doing
In the role of the Primary Care Project Manager you will work with Cancer institute NSW (CINSW) stakeholders and external stakeholders, for a period of up to 18 months to complete the development of a NSW Primary Care Cancer Strategy to support achievement of the CINSW strategic objectives.

You will collaborate and consult with all relevant CINSW stakeholders to plan the strategy development and identify priorities for inclusion. You will engage and lead an external consulting firm to develop the NSW Primary Care Cancer Strategy.

You will be responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed within specified budgets and timeframes.  You will also lead the development, implementation and evaluation of projects related to the Strategy development, and its related implementation and evaluation plans.

Using your extensive stakeholder engagement skills, you will develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders including Primary Care Advisory Group Members, Professional Bodies, and Agencies, to promote increased involvement of health professionals in the cancer care pathway, and to identify and leverage opportunities for future collaboration.

You will have a demonstrated experience working in the health care sector, with an understanding of the Commonwealth and State health care systems. You will also bring demonstrated project management skills and experience to the role.

Your work will contribute to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives of the NSW Cancer Plan and Primary Care portfolio for the CINSW.

The successful candidate will be rquired to travel for relevant stakeholder consultations.
