Environmental Health Officers are required for a variety of duties with Local Council East of Melbourne.

This Local Council located East of Melbourne cover a beautiful region of Victoria with green views and a friendly community. In addition to the staff perks, this Council are passionate about contributing towards their community and the people who are part of it. Currently seeking Environmental Health Officers to join on a temporary basis (approx. 6 months) with the opportunity leading to a permanent placement.

Your new role
As an EHO, your primary duties will include but are not limited to;

  • Conducting inspections/audits at registered food premises
  • Ensure compliance with the Public Health Act
  • Waste management including septic tanks and drainage systems
  • Developing relationships with local stakeholders


What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent written and verbal English communication skills as well as be very organised with your time management, strong focus for customer satisfaction and committed to giving 100% in your role. You will also have experience working as an Environmental Health Officer within a Local Council.

It is a necessity for this role that you have a current clean Victorian drivers licence and will be able to successfully past a police check.
