What you'll be doing
Assist in ensuring that buildings, equipment, infrastructure and grounds for Mental Health Services located at Morisset Hospital, James Fletcher Hospital and nominated Community settings are well maintained, safe and fully functional. More specifically, The Engineer Assistant is responsible to oversee all Operations on the James Fletcher Campus and the Mental Health Maintenance management within the PPP at the Mater Campus. They will provide high quality preventative and reactive maintenance services, ensuring compliance to NSW Health Policy Directive, relevant codes and practices.
The Assistant Engineer will directly supervise the maintenance positions at James Fletcher Campus leading and empowering to deliver high performing Support Services.
This person will provide a crucial support role to deliver minor capital works and larger capital projects across Mental Health Sites.
An eligibility list will be created for future similar vacancies, both permanent and temporary.
