About the role
- As the Technical Support Officer you will be the first point of contact for ICT support across the organisation and be required to apply your knowledge and skills in the provision of technical support to stakeholders and customers of Council’s ICT systems.
- The Salary Range for this position is $69,127.14 - 73,935.07 gross per annum plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.4% superannuation.
- This position will be required to participate in the after hours on call roster and act as the Coordinator ICT help desk from time to time.
How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria
You will need;
- The mandatory qualifications and experience as listed in the "Success Criteria" of the Position Description.
- Demonstrated ICT Service Desk experience including applying knowledge and skills to provide IT support to stakeholders and customers.
- Demonstrated experience in the operation of IT Service Management software, to record, manage, prioritise, escalate (when required), track and resolve incidents and requests.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner.
- Understanding of and commitment to Council’s Organisational Value and Behaviour of Collaboration and Teamwork
