The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Asset Systems Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 9000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to over 550,000 people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region.
You will take responsibility for
- Managing Information and Communications Technology procurement activities to enhance strategic focus, and ensure probity and accountability with policy and legislative requirements
- Providing expert advice and local system support to Departments on asset management systems including SAP, Honeywell Building Management System and Service Now
- Undertaking strategic analysis of existing asset management Information Technology systems, including system configuration, optimisation, industry trends, to inform and develop service delivery improvement plans
- Actively assisting in the design, implementation and management of quality management systems and controls for internal procedures, systems and document to enhance the operation of the organisation
Requirements for the role
- Applicant must be able to demonstrate considerable experience in utilising several of the following management systems; ISO55000 (asset management), ISO14001 (environmental management), ISO9001 (quality management), AS4801 (WH&S) and or ISO31000 (Risk management)
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a government vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required
- This position is required to work throughout the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service

Salary information
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $98 691 - $105 716 p.a.
- Up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
About the Unit
Asset Management Services (AMS) supports the delivery of health care within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). It provides a range of asset management, contract management and capital works management services across all GCHHS locations. This role will report to the Sustainability and Compliance Manager and will represent AMS on GCHHS committees as assigned.
