• 6 or 12-months opportunity
• Full time Monday to Friday - four days per week a possibility
• Start on 1st of August 2018

Our local government client in Melbourne’s South West requires two Senior Designer / Landscape Architects to join their team for a six and twelve-months contract.

The primary focus of the role is to provide a range of design services that support the delivery of high quality public places and spaces as well as enhanced city image and effective community engagement. Furthermore, you will be providing input to the development of plans, policies and strategies that provide a direction for the future development of open space and the public realm. You will be required to work collaboratively with council staff and external stakeholders.
  
Requirements:

• Tertiary degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticultural Science, Urban Planning and Design, or equivalent
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D drafting skills
• Current Victorian driver’s licence
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a landscape architecture, urban design, horticultural landscape design practice or similar
• Local government experience
• Proficient in Adobe software, especially Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
