We are seeking an effective, innovative and experienced health social worker to join our small interdisciplinary team. Your role will be to provide the psychosocial input for a group of clients who have a diagnosis of HIV. You will be a registered social worker with a current APC.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent assessment skills, intervention planning, align with Auckland DHB’s values, and the ability to provide effective health social work interventions in partnership with clients and their families who are adjusting to a recent diagnosis. Due to medical advancement HIV is a chronic health condition and skills associated with supporting clients to live well will be a critical part of the role.

This position is currently 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible working hours and the opportunity to support and excellent work/life balance. For the right applicant, the role may be extended, or additional FTE could be combined to create a full time position.
