The Activity Centres Revitalisation team is part of Council’s Greater Dandenong Business directorate and is seeking to employ a suitably qualified project planner. The team leads and co-ordinates the revitalisation of the Dandenong, Springvale and Noble Park activity centres though the stewardship of property development, infrastructure, planning, stakeholder engagement and place making.
The successful candidate will be required to develop project briefs, undertake tender assessments, engage and manage consultants to prepare design plans, develop strategies, and prepare development feasibilities, assist with property acquisition and disposal, and oversee Council’s Planning Application Review Panel for central Dandenong.
Demonstrated experience in project management, development feasibility, planning, engineering including a proven history of delivering or exceeding the expectations of clients and stakeholders in respect to community led design outcomes, budget and time management and knowledge of commercial property markets is essential.
