Senior Project Officer

  • $95,275 - $115,276 (Plus Superannuation)

The position of Senior Project Officer forms a part of the Policy, Programs, Small Business and Employment division, Employment Outcomes branch within the Employment, Investment and Trade group.

The Community and Social Innovation Branch supports the growth of inclusive local economies in targeted locations across Victoria. Working within a dynamic environment, the Senior Project Officer will work as part of a small team and with stakeholders from across government, communities and business to deliver projects which drive the implementation of the Victorian Social Enterprise Strategy and support increased labour market participation amongst communities experiencing disadvantage.

High level conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to apply complex concepts to project development are essential. The successful applicant will have excellent communications and influencing skills with the demonstrated ability to develop effective, collaborative working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including local communities. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of government and industry policy in the economic development area.  The successful applicant will work effectively as a leader and as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work across the branch and broader PPSBE division.
