The Organisation
Airservices is a government owned organisation providing safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry.
Each year we manage over four million aircraft movements carrying more than 156 million passengers, and provide air navigation services across 11 per cent of the world’s airspace.
Airservices has two major operating centres in Melbourne and Brisbane and a corporate office in Canberra. We operate 29 air traffic towers at international and regional airports, and provide aviation rescue fire fighting services at 26 Australian airports.
The Role
As a direct report to the Group Executive and senior manager within the Enterprise Services Group, you will lead a diverse team of unit managers to deliver a range of business services to Airservices and corporate groups.
Specifically you will be accountable for the delivery of; accounts payable and receivable; payroll; enterprise analysis and reporting; mail delivery; records management; and documentation management. Services provided to corporate groups will include financial services, people services, corporate training and recruitment.
Additionally, you will be accountable for the provision of group performance and change management services supporting the delivery of the Enterprise Services Group Business Plan and strategy.
The Person
You will be effective in influencing a diverse range of stakeholders, driving cultural change and developing ongoing reporting to help track business performance against multi-year change road-maps that drive effective, efficient, and value-focused services to the business, industry and government.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Law or relevant field essential. MBA desired.
- Proven ability to transition strategic thinking to operational practice.
- Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain large scale transformation.
- Strong leadership, influencing, stakeholder management and communications skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal, representation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver quality results and meet customer expectations in a professional and timely manner.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in program delivery covering a range of technological, process and people based changes.
