The role, within the Communications unit of the VCAA, includes, but is not limited to:
- Assisting in the management of communication and marketing functions of the VCAA, to meet quality standards and timelines.
- Developing content for digital and print channels.
- Managing and provide phone and email support to inform the education sector and wider community of VCAA activities.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of communication activities including selected events.
- Monitoring, evaluation and improvement of communication deliverables and processes.
- Preparing briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
- Ensuring written communications contain necessary information to achieve its purpose and is appropriate for its audience.
Experience in a communications role is highly desirable.
