Key duties and accountabilities

• Perform various administrative duties including word processing, spreadsheet development, database maintenance, purchasing, preparation of petty cash claims, travel bookings and allowance claims, conference and meeting room bookings, processing of accounts, invoicing, product and permit sales, receipting, freight and postage, financial reporting, records management, correspondence, budget preparation and stock ordering.

• Perform Biosecurity administrative duties as required.

• Communicate and liaise with various levels of management, the general public and senior executives from public and private organisations on a wide range of issues and maintain effective working relationships.

• Maintain and use various office equipment including telephone, facsimile, photocopier, printer, scanner, binder etc.

• Meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, forward plan and establish own work priorities in consultation with supervisor.

• Perform duties within our companies standards, guidelines and procedures, continually seeking improvements in the way in which work is performed.

• Provide quality customer service to both internal and external clients.
