About the Role
The Project Officer ? Regional Development provides a range of policy, project or program work to contribute to the development and delivery of regional development projects and programs, business planning and reporting.
 
You will be responsible for:
  • Providing a range of policy, project or program contributions, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope
  • Communicating with key stakeholders and coordinating working groups, committees and consultation to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
  • Sourcing, collating and compiling data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project and program progress against established milestones and deliverables
  • Undertaking research and analysis, identifying trends and client requirements, preparing advice, options and briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of client and stakeholder strategies, evaluating effectiveness and identifying process improvements and alternative modes of delivery
  • Providing ongoing operational support to and working collaboratively with the regional development team, to identify requirements and ensure effective project and program delivery.
 
A bit about you
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing advice and developing options, solutions and recommendations for senior management.
  • You have experience in project management including the ability to manage multiple projects with competing timeframes, set priorities, meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
