Position: Senior Front of House Officer
Location: Bundaberg
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Level:  3
Remuneration:
• $63,217 per annum
• Plus up to 12% Council Superannuation Contribution (Local Government Conditions apply to superannuation)

Position Purpose:
To oversee all Front of House Customer Service, Hospitality and Event Operations for the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre and to support Arts and Cultural Services programs and facilities.  The position is responsible for overseeing all Front of House activities including pre-show operations and all Candy Bar and Liquor Bar operations, under the direction of the Manager, Arts & Cultural Services. This includes stocking, sales, maintenance, cash handling and supervision of casual ushers and bar/candy bar staff (including rostering). This position is the primary customer service contact for the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.

Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated high level experience in hospitality and/or arts environments in a front of house capacity
2. Demonstrated experience in supervising and training staff in a hospitality and/or arts environment
3. Demonstrated experience in cash and point of sale management
4. Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the private and public sector including people with disabilities, people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds and seniors.
5. Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
6. Computer skills including ticketing software and Microsoft Office.
7. Attainment of RMLV and RSA certification and a current Working with Children Blue Card
8. Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
9. Provision of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia wide – name only)
