The Role
The Business Project Manager will assist the Director of Transformation, working in a Project Services environment, engaging multiple stakeholders across various Directorates in this state government department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of a wide range of different projects.
This includes, project management, strategic advisory, and some hands-on coordination when required.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, and develop relevant working partnerships across the Department ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare project initiation, business cases, budgets etc. to maximise benefits.
- Manage all the various risks and reporting associated to projects, advising senior stakeholders on progress.
- Lead and manage sprints.
- Provide advice, support ,project and change management to the Director, Transformation.
- Respond to all stakeholders on advice and guidance to specific projects.
- Manage project teams, ensure the desired outcomes are achieved.
- Prepare & present project status reports.
Main Requirements
- A proven track record managing multiple project streams, or large business transformation will be critical to your success.
- A proven track record working on a diverse range of different projects, able to pick up the subject matter very quickly.
- The successful individual will be a proactive, and positive person, able to handle a high volume environment, that is dynamic.
- Ability to work strategically with the Transformation Team.
