As part of a constantly evolving industry, V/Line is responsible for over 80 train stations and maintenance of approximately 3,500 kilometres of rail track across Victoria. The Project Risk Partner is key member of V/Line’s Enterprise Risk and Compliance Function. While reporting into the General Manager, Risk, Assurance & Internal Audit, the Project Risk Partner will be a full-time resource to the Strategy and Programs Function to provide frontline project risk management support.
The Project Risk Partner is responsible for driving and facilitating risk management activities for one or more of V/Line’s projects. The Project Risk Partner will collaborate with the Enterprise Risk & Compliance Business Partner for Strategy & Programs to provide Executive and Board Level insights, opinions and recommendations on the state of V/Line’s Project Portfolio from a risk management perspective.
To be successful in securing this role, you will be able to demonstrate strong experience in Risk management within numerous complex project environments and possess a tertiary level qualification in Commerce. Clear and concise communication paired with the ability to influence and achieve results will be pivotal to your success in this role. This role will suit a commercially driven and consultative individual, with experience in professional services, utilities or banking being highly desirable.
The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience. The selection process may include aptitude assessments, a behavioural event interview, national probity (police) check and medical examination in line with the National Standard for Health Assessment for Rail Safety Workers.
