A Local Council is looking for a Waste Project Community Officer for a 12 month full-time contract.

Your new company
You will be part of the Waste Management Department in a Local Council based on the North Shore; working along side full-time staff as a Hays Contractor.

Your new role
In this role you will develop new waste strategies and drive initiatives on delivering to the community. This will include education around recycling, implementing schemes in the community and providing advice to the Council on waste and resource solutions.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience in waste management and knowledge of current trends of waste and recycling is required as well as proven experience in delivering initiatives to the community. Experience at Local Government is also desired as well as creativity and a positive attitude.

What you'll get in return
A 12 month full-time contract and an extremely competitive hourly rate. The position could also be extended dependant on availability and performance.
