The opportunity
This role contributes to a safe and healthy work environment, processes and practices upheld and improved through positive stakeholder engagement, provision of quality advice and support to deliver Health and Safety programs with, and for City West Water employees, contractors and customers.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on sustaining a positive health and safety culture, with continually improved performance outcomes for City West Water and its employees, contractors and customers.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Experience in a civil construction or similar risk industry in a similar role
• Certificate IV in OH&S or a similar type of program and relevant drivers licence 
• Knowledgeable in WHS legislation and practical applications 
• Proficient user of Microsoft Applications 
• Highly developed interpersonal skills including communication (written and verbal), with an ability to import knowledge and coach others
• Sound conceptual and analytical skills, with strong problem solving and innovation skills
• Demonstrate experience in data reporting frameworks and H&S service administration
• Understanding of the implementation and operation of H&S management systems
• Advance organisational, time management and customer service skills. 
• Some knowledge of the water industry and H&S auditing and investigation skills would be desirable.
