An ongoing opportunity for a Parking Officer at a Local Council based on the Central Coast.
Your new company
You will be working at a Council based on the Central Coast. You will be working with a team of casual Parking Officers employed through Hays.
Your new role
Your main job will be to enforce local parking legislation by issuing infringements. You will also be educating the general public about parking laws and restrictions. You will also be expected to attend court hearings if required.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a Parking Officer and / or Ranger would be beneficial. You must have a valid NSW Driving Licence. Experience using PDA machines (or similar) would be advantageous. Customer Service is a vital part of this role so a good attitude and strong interpersonal skills are a must. This role would also suit anyone from a customer service or hospitality background.
What you'll get in return
You will get ongoing work on a casual basis and will be paid well above the minimum award rate. The roster will be created around your availability so you will have a degree of control over when you work. You will work on average around two or three shifts a week with additional work allocated based on performance and availability.
