An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Technical Officer - Golf Course to join our team at the City of Boroondara on a full time permanent basis.
We have fantastic work life balance with a 9 day fortnight rostered day off. Phone and laptop will be available to the successful candidate.
Your role with us
Reporting to the Team Leader Turf Management, you will oversee and undertake day-to-day maintenance of Council’s Golf Course, Freeway Golf.
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out turf maintenance operations
- Organise other staff and supervise their work
- Liaise with contractors and monitor works
- Support the day-to-day management of customer requests
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring a practical application of skills achieved in your qualification in Turf Management. You will use your relevant practical experience of leading a team and have experience in the repair, maintenance and installation of irrigation systems. Reasonable fitness suitable for physical duties will be required.
