The Role
In this exciting role in the Healthcare Improvement Unit, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health system projects. You will provide expert advice to a wide range of stakeholders on processes and information systems. You will use ethical decision making to achieve project goals.

The successful candidate
To be successful for this role you will have:

  • A high level of clinical and/or operational knowledge regarding public hospital surgery and/or outpatient services.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective professional partnerships with key stakeholders in the development of State-wide policies, practices and initiatives to ensure consistency with the Departments direction.  
  • Advanced project management skills including the ability to develop, implement  and evaluate solutions that will  improve access to public hospital services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills including the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
