About the Role

Product & Content Technology has an exciting opportunity to join our new Technology Portfolio Office (TPO).  We are looking for a solutions-focused Benefits Lead who can work effectively in a fast paced environment to support the identification, tracking and coordination of benefits across the portfolio and deliver strategic value for the ABC.  This role engages with all parts of the ABC, so effective communication and building stakeholder confidence is key.

Reporting to the Technology Portfolio Office Lead, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching individuals, teams & business stakeholders to help them identify benefits & support growth
  • Leading & advocating for benefits management best practice and being a point of contact for teams
  • Tracking business cases as they progress through the approval process
  • Facilitating benefits tracking ceremonies, to track and analyse the realisation of benefits
  • Developing and delivering training for teams & business stakeholders
  • Helping the TPO identify, resolve and escalate impediments
  • Providing benefits support for the preparation of business cases benefits
  • Reporting on benefits performance at the portfolio level
  • Providing assurance that the benefits are measurable, realistic and achievable
  • Monitoring benefit realisation activity after component project delivery
  • Collaborating across the team of delivery leads & business partners supporting all initiatives

About You

You will have appropriate qualifications and/or relevant experience and demonstrated ability and experience in benefits management in a successful Portfolio Office.

You will also have:

  • Ability to define and project future benefits and associated costs
  • Ability to analyse both qualitative and quantitative benefits information
  • A successful track record of supporting benefits led organisation
  • Demonstrate a willingness to challenge existing practises
  • Advanced influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to interact at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience coaching individuals & teams
