Council is currently seeking a commercially astute professional who can play an integral role in the continuation of this vision. You may have a Local Government background, but alternatively, possess significant success managing and developing a highly engaged finance team.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Performance, your experience and sector knowledge will play a key role in the strategic and operational management of the Financial Services Group and the provision of financial advice to the Executive Team. Working across Council, you will hit the ground running to encourage cross-divisional cooperation, continuous improvement and collaboration to achieve best value for money and drive high quality outcomes for the community.
You will also bring extensive experience in a financial management role and be able to demonstrate your ability to balance commercial, community and/or client requirements while managing a diverse group of stakeholders.
