About the NDIA

The purpose of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability. The NDIA will also provide great benefit to the families and carers of Australians living with a disability. The NDIS is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean peace of mind for every Australian, for anyone who has, or might acquire, a disability.


About the Position

The Digital Content Producer plays a critical role in the Media and Communications Branch, and is responsible for coordinating and managing NDIA video and multimedia content. Leading the development of digital content, the Digital Content Producer works to drive the growth and reach of the NDIS TV brand. The Digital Content Producer will have demonstrated exemplary communication, video production, project management and people leadership skills.
Experience producing video content which educates, empowers and informs is highly desirable.
Core responsibilities include:
• Aligning video content with the needs of the business. This means consultation with externally facing channels including social media and website, as well as media and cross-Agency stakeholders to understand what the community need, and position video as an accessible communication channel.
• Managing the sourcing, planning, production and distribution of all NDIA video content, ensuring that video content is high-quality, accessible and meeting audience needs and expectations.
• Working with the wider team to develop content for integrated campaigns and messaging.
• End to end production of NDIS video content including sourcing content, scripting, project managing, editing, and creative direction for a range of high quality digital content.
• Developing effective reporting mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness and consistently of high quality video content; ensuring continuous improvement practices are embed within the Digital content.
• Growing and developing NDIS TV brand, reach and capabilities based upon insights from digital communications channel analysis, and measure growth and success of NDIS TV and video content as per above effective reporting mechanisms.
