The purpose of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability. About the Position

As the Assistant Director in the Digital Communications team, you will be responsible for working with the Director of Digital Communications and all business areas of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to ensure the proactive and strategic management of the NDIA’s digital communications.
You will support the Agency by managing and overseeing tailored communications to audiences across all digital channels, including website, social media, electronic direct messaging (EDM’s), and all NDIS TV video content, including animations.
You will build and execute strategic digital communications plans to ensure communication activities, channels and timeframes are aligned to strategic imperatives.
As the Assistant Director of Digital Communications you will be responsible for ensuring future and current participants, and their families and carers, and future and current service providers have the information they require about the NDIS.
Duties
Responsibilities include:
• Managing the development and implementation of digital communication activities to ensure stakeholders have access to timely, accurate and insightful information delivered across a variety of channels,
• Providing considered advice on digital communications activities to drive consistent messaging and content nuanced for audience and channel,
• Management of budgets, contracts, procurement and resources,
• Managing competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy, and
• Working closely with others and contributing to the development and delivery of NDIA’s strategic aspirations, business and operational plans.
