The Parks Operations department aims to provide attractive, safe and well maintained parks, public places and environment for passive and active recreation that enables quality urban life while protecting and conserving the natural environment.
The City currently has an excellent opportunity for a Horticultural Tradesperson to provide specialist industry skills to our newly created parks maintenance team. This position is responsible for providing high quality landscape maintenance to reserves within the City.
To be successful you will have sound horticultural knowledge and the ability to impart that knowledge, the proven ability to provide high levels of customer service and experience in landscape maintenance.
You will also need to demonstrate that you are able to meet the role’s requirements which are outlined in the position description.
Essential requirements: A current National Police Clearance, “MR” class driver’s licence and Horticultural Certification or equivalent (Certificate III or higher).
Salary: $69,975
