The Role: Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to undertake the above position. The successful candidate will provide operation, maintenance and construction of Council’s water and wastewater networks under direction from the supervisor. Work includes maintenance, construction and repair of water and sewer infrastructure and/or assets.
What You Will Need: All applicants must possess a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (or related field) and experience in a similar role along with experience in basic plumbing and operating plant and equipment. Current Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans certification, Confined Spaces certification and MR licence would be highly desirable.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $946.60 - $1060.20 per 38 hour week, in accordance with Council’s salary system. Other conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and Council’s policies and procedures.
