The Lockheed Martin Australia AIR 5428 Training Services Manager is responsible for Ground School Classroom Training, Simulation Operations and liaison with the Enterprise Courseware Manager to ensure ongoing courseware optimisation and improvement.

Based in East Sale this role will see you provide subject matter expert level advice, in the training and management arena, for the delivery of Ab-initio Pilot Training Courseware.

The Training Services Manager is responsible for Ground School classroom training, Simulation Operations and liaison with the Enterprise Courseware Manager to ensure ongoing courseware optimisation and improvement.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and leading training functions – classroom training, simulation services, and School Aide Services
• Provide classroom instruction in aviation subjects
• Liaise with Enterprise Courseware Manager for the maintenance and improvement of courseware, inclusive of Syllabus of Instruction, instructor guides, computer-based training and related products
• Translate customer needs/requirements into effective, instructionally sound, training products
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with delivering PTS training services, including training task analysis and development, writing objectives and test questions, media rationale and selection, evaluation development.

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring with you:

• Undergraduate or post graduate qualifications in work place learning, or a related field (or equivalent such as experience as a Flying/Aviation Instructor)
• Experience in the management of training operations inclusive of the delivery of Computer-Based Training (CBT) services
• Substantial experience in andragogy-based training environment / delivery of training services
• Complex task coordination, leadership and management of training resources
• Ability to understand and articulate a Training Services Management Plan and recommend adjustments to the training system as required
• Excellent technical writing and editing skills
• Excellent organisational, planning, communication, troubleshooting skills and basic project management skills
• High level of expertise in Microsoft Office suite
