Senior Category Manager
Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW provides more than 39,000 services to about 25,000 customers in its operating region.
Based in Tatura, you’ll join the Procurement and Contract Management team and provide expert advice in the delivery of procurement activities, contract management and supplier agreements at GMW.
Having a strong customer focus, you’ll liaise with internal and external customers to deliver the GMW procurement pipeline. You will be responsible for four direct reports, who you’ll lead and coach to achieve best value for money. You’ll also lead the development and implementation of procedures and procurement strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
If you have extensive experience in a similar role and are familiar with procurement, tendering, contract functions and methodologies, and enjoy building collaborative partnerships, we’d love to hear from you.
