Your new company
This Federal Government Department has partnered with Hays Construction and Property to attract experienced property professionals at the EL1 level for an initial 6 month period. This role is has been recently established and as such, has the ability to diversify and grow with the right candidate.
Your new role
In this role you will report into the Property Director as well as working closely with the CFO to oversee the strategic and day-to-day management of all the assets responsible to the Department. This role relies on executive level experience in overseeing, maintaining and refining property management systems and associated work programs.
You will assist the property team and work with them to deliver agreed outputs, provide high level policy advice, reports and strategic direction in managing all of the department’s portfolios, manage the property management budget and represent the department and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on property related matters.
What you'll need to succeed
Central to this position will be your demonstrated ability to manage your own performance and lead, motivate and develop direct reports. You will also have high level written and oral communication, presentation and consultation skills.
What you'll get in return
You will get an initial 6 month contract on an hourly rate of $75ph + super.
