Work Collaboratively With A Close Knit Team To Influence The Department's View On Work Place Health And Safety
Your new company
This position is with a small Federal Government agency based in south Canberra. This agency provides front line services so you will be able to see the impact of your work to the operation of Australia's security.
Your new role
- Assist with all WHS projects
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding governance announcements and Commercial in Confidence information and material
- Create and develop professional and Government documentation
- Project and communication planning
- Develop new internal processes and produced interactive guides to improve business procedures for best practice
- Generating and analysing statistics and reports
What you'll need to succeed
- WHS qualifications
- Experience in WHS, including safety risk management, incident management and/or policy and program development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain professional networks
- Good writing, research and organisation skills
- Ability to positively influence the safety culture of an organisation
