About the role
This traineeship is offered in partnership between Coffs Harbour City Council and NSW Health. The role will combine on the job experience with the completion of a Bachelor of Natural Science - Environment & Health through the Western Sydney University. The traineeship will run over a nominal term of 6 year's providing the successful applicant a valuable opportunity to complete a qualification and gain practical on the job experience.
About you
If you are recognised as Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander and have an interest in pursuing a career in Environmental Health then this traineeship is a fantastic opportunity.
If you are driven by conquering challenges and want to work with a dynamic and upbeat team, this role is for you. Previous experience in Environmental Health is not necessary; however the candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills and have the aptitude necessary to enrol in tertiary study. If required a university preparation course may be available for the selected candidate.

Salary
Salary range of $39,557 - $57,883 pa (incl. super + retention allowance) per 35 hour week
