Manager, Aboriginal Initiatives
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to improving outcomes for Aboriginal children and families. This position will provide a high performing individual with the chance to apply their skills, knowledge and experience to formulating and implementing policies and programs in response to complex, system-wide issues in child and family services. This role manages:
- program implementation, including the Australia-first Aboriginal Children in Aboriginal Care program
- transitioning management of Aboriginal children to Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
- delivering budget initiatives, including funding, service development and procurement
- creation of materials and strategies to effectively and persuasively engage and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
