Council is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join their passionate and dedicated Local Laws team. The Local Laws Unit prides itself on its proactive approach to community education which encourages compliance and understanding of Local Laws within our community.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
About You
To be successful in this position you will possess the following position requirements:
- Communication skills with the ability to produce written reports and briefs.
- Customer service skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict and problems with a positive attitude.
- General understanding of investigative techniques used in achieving compliance.
- Confidence in managing animal behaviours, particularly dogs.
