About the role:At C&K Coorparoo Community Kindergarten, a position has become available for an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Assistant to join their team. As the Assistant, you would be responsible for implementing a quality care and education program in co-operation with the Teacher. This position is a permanent part time opportunity commencing in August 2018. This role would require you to work 8.5 hours each Monday and Tuesday and 7.5 hours each Wednesday, Thursday and alternate Friday.  Ideal applicants will have:

• Certificate lll or Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA).
• Current Paid Blue Card (or willing to obtain one)
• Up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate/s
• National Police Check issued within the last 3 months (or willing to obtain one)
• Experience assisting in implementing a planned program, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met.
• Observant of children's behaviour and development, whilst ability to document accurate observations.
• Effective team player
• Awareness of the National Quality Framework
• Prior experience within the early childhood profession is essential
