The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

The Digital Services Lead guides and leads the provision and support of the digital platform, digital marketing automation and enabling content delivery on a variety of platforms, channels, and related services for their internal clients. This position is also responsible for the development and delivery of digital content management training to team members, clients and other support teams.

The successful person will support AHPRA’s transition to a continuous improvement culture informed by data and research, where our goal is to enhance our users’ experiences by improving the efficiency and quality of our digital channels and online customer service experiences, and the adoption and operationalising of new services into the team’s portfolio of digital platforms

 In this role you will:

  • Contribute to building a brand based on high performance, customer service and continuous improvement
  • Undertake and provide mentorship and support to team members in a variety of tasks around publishing digital content
  • Creation of digital assets (images, video, publications, EDMs) via a variety of software tools. Examples of standard software in the team includes: Adobe Creative Cloud suite (with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign), Livecycle, Microsoft Office suite and Campaign Monitor
  • Maintain and monitor the performance of digital marketing and marketing automation platforms
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of an appropriate documented suite of relevant policies, processes and procedures

As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent level of experience across required areas of expertise
  • Demonstrable base of expertise across the required discipline(s) including: understanding of relevant business operational areas including HR/Finance, corporate functions, regulatory operations and board services
  • Experience of working in a regulatory or compliance-focused environment preferably in a team leadership capacity
  • Exemplary communication skills with the ability to provide specialist advice in language to suit the stakeholder
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
